This 20 page PDF is a copy of the guide to crewed yacht vacations that the BVI Tourist Board put out in the early 90's. The style of the clothes, even now, (as well as the womens hair!) is quite interesting.
In 1989 CYBA (the Charter Yacht Brokers Association put out a brochure on chartering here. This PDF is some selected pages from it, including the few boats that are still around chartering here, including Wanderlust, Cuan Law, Promenade, Endless Summer and Highest Honour (which you will know as Lonestar now!) an interesting look at the boats.
1981 Pleasure Boat Industry Study by Ivor Jackson
in 1981 study on the Charter Yacht Industry was commissioned. This makes some interesting readin, as although it is 99 pages long, it does contain some fascinating trivia from back then and it is interesting to see what has changed and what has not. This is a large PDF file to download!
